Junior Varsity is a comic about high school junior, Davey, a head-strong, stubborn, conniving jerk who wants nothing more than to win, and her water polo team who all kind of hate her, (save for Andrea, who tends to be her biggest enabler (and who might possibly be in love with her.))

LOPC was first created for an independent study with my then mentor, Jamie Wolfe. It follows two siblings who have been dropped into this weird topsy turvy world with no prior explanation trying to find a way to get back. It starts in media res because I found it more engaging.

Books like A Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis were major inspirations.
